Growth Factor Treatments

Natural Skin Regeneration

About This Treatment

Growth Factor Treatments harness the power of science and your body's natural healing abilities to restore, repair, and rejuvenate the skin from within.

We offer three advanced options — PDGF+, EZ Gel, and Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) — each using concentrated growth factors to stimulate collagen production, restore volume, and improve overall skin quality. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your goals and treatment areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)?

PRF is the next-generation regenerative treatment using your body's own healing abilities. A small amount of blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge without any additives or anticoagulants, and a golden fibrin matrix rich in growth factors, white blood cells, stem cells, and platelets is isolated.

Why is PRF better than PRP?

PRF is a more advanced version with stronger regenerative power and no chemical additives. PRF clots into a gel-like matrix after injection, creating a natural scaffold that releases growth factors slowly over 7-10 days, compared to PRP's 1-day release, leading to better healing and longer-lasting results.

What can PRF treat?

PRF treats under-eye hollows and dark circles, thinning hair and receding hairlines, fine lines and volume loss around the mouth, acne scars and overall skin texture, and neck and décolleté rejuvenation.

Does PRF hurt?

Most patients say PRF treatments are very tolerable. Topical numbing cream is used before injections with ultra-fine needles and cannulas to minimize discomfort.

When will I see results?

Most patients start to see subtle improvements within 2-4 weeks, with continued improvements for up to 3 months after each session. For best results, a series of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended.

Are there any side effects?

Since PRF is 100% derived from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is nearly zero. Mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness can occur and usually resolves within a few days.

How should I prepare for PRF treatment?

Hydrate well the day before and day of treatment. Eat a high protein, low refined sugar diet 3 days prior to yield rich PRF. Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, and fish oil 48 hours before your session. Eat a light, healthy meal prior to your appointment.

How long do PRF results last?

PRF builds collagen and tissue naturally, so results are long-lasting but gradual. Most patients enjoy results for 6-12 months after a full treatment series, with many opting for maintenance sessions 1-2 times per year.
